Our Team
Briana Bassett, CSW
Certified Social Worker
“I help people find themselves amid the turmoil and trouble in their lives, and build self-confidence in who they are and who they can become.”
Briana is an ADHD-trained specialist who also does focused couples work. She helps people build self-confidence and steadiness when life feels like turmoil, from young teens through adults.
Who Briana works with
Much of her caseload is adults, young adults, and teenagers with ADHD or executive dysfunction — people who are capable, creative, and motivated, and still burned out from years of pushing through. The internal script is usually some version of "I know what I should do, so why can't I just do it?"
That shows up as procrastination, inconsistency, and mental clutter that spills into work, school, relationships, and the basic running of a life. Many arrive exhausted from masking it, or from being misread by people who assumed it was laziness.
She also works with couples and with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, and the stretch of not knowing what comes next.
How Briana works
Her approach is collaborative and strength-focused: first understanding how your particular brain works, then building systems that work with it instead of against it. The aim is less shame and more traction — concrete strategies for focus, follow-through, time, and organization.
For couples she draws on the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy. For trauma she is EMDR and ART trained, and IASIS microcurrent neurofeedback is available for clients whose systems need help settling before the talking part can land.
Training and background
Briana completed her master's degree at the University of Utah in 2024 and holds a 2024 certificate in EMDR/Accelerated Resolution Therapy, alongside extensive ADHD-focused training. She has been in practice for three years.
She serves Bountiful and surrounding Davis County, with telehealth throughout Utah and Idaho.
Starting with Briana
Teenagers and young adults tend to take to her quickly, largely because she starts where they actually are rather than where an adult thinks they should be — supportive without being soft about the problem.
