Alena Ericksen

As Lao Tsu once said, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step." I would be most honored to support you in a warm and compassionate environment as you take this step. Some of my greatest experience has come from being a wife of 26 years, mother of six, and a grandmother to two. I understand the complexities that can unfold in life. The modalities that resonate with me are Person-centered, Solution-focused, CBT, and EMDR. I can also offer hypnosis and nutritional/herbal counseling as alternatives to consider for holistic well-being. I value your investment with therapy & want to help you achieve your goals ASAP.

I have a Bachelor's in Marriage and Family Studies from BYUI, a Master's from Liberty University (Virginia), Master's from The School of Natural Healing (Master Herbalist), certification from The National Guild of Hypnotists, and trained in EMDR. I work with depression, anxiety, trauma, and marriages for those motivated to achieve increased wellness.

Because of my deep love for people, I cannot think of a greater reward than to serve others by helping to minimize human suffering. Walking with someone on their journey in overcoming life’s challenges is one of the greatest privileges another can venture on. I believe in the potential of each individual in achieving their goals for an abundant life. Alena accepts DMBA, EMI, PEHP, Regence Blue Cross, and most SelectHealth insurance plans.
