Meet Our Team

Dr. Victoria Brown, DBH, LCSW

I help adults and teens who have experienced traumatic events and suffering from stress-related illness and/or mental health difficulties grow, heal, and overcome.

After 25 years of working with people who struggle with mental illness, many of whom have lived through nightmarish life events, my priority is to help you find your strength and become free from the crushing weight that pulls you down. I use evidence-based tools like ILF Neurofeedback and EMDR/ART to aid the healing process.

You can find confidence and motivation in your life.

My own therapy journey in learning and cultivating self-compassion, self-worth, and self-esteem has made me passionate about guiding women and teens to develop these life-changing qualities. I believe therapy should be fun and that laughter enhances every session.

I also love working with people who want to improve their lives by creating boundaries and building better relationships. I use your life experiences to bolster confidence and build self-worth.

I look forward to working with those who are ready to heal from relationship issues and past trauma, set goals for the future, navigate life transitions, and work through problems that they do not know how to face or fix.

Are you struggling with something in life? Are you ready to make a change and feel some relief?

I’m passionate about coming alongside clients who may feel isolated in a world filled with change, challenges, and uncertainty to help them move from fear to freedom.

In my cozy office, I address each client with warmth, compassion, and empathy. I acknowledge each person as the expert on their life and story.

After years of my own therapy, I appreciate and recognize that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. By working collaboratively, we will integrate many techniques to discover what works best for you and maximize our effectiveness together.

I understand the strength and vulnerability it takes to seek help for yourself or a loved one. I find so much joy in working with clients and watching them flourish.

Fun Facts: In my free time, I love to cook, read, spend time with my family, and go for walks with my dog.

Has talk therapy not given you the results you are hoping for? Are you ready to learn the skills to change and find balance within yourself, your life, and your relationships?

As a frustrated talk-therapy dropout myself, I have sought the most evidence-based, effective ways to achieve balance, inner serenity, self-compassion, and resilience AND eliminate PTSD, panic, self-harm, suicide ideation, and crisis. (Oh, and I have a really cute therapy dog!)

It is my greatest joy to help clients soothe inner chaos and tantrum emotions, find peace and calm, learn to nurture themselves, access their true selves, and create the life and relationships they long for. I believe every person can achieve balance with DBT, ACT, and Accelerated Resolution (a form of EMDR) therapies.

No matter the obstacles in your path-whether it is anxiety and panic, chronic perfectionism, depression, borderline personality disorder, intense emotions, self-harm, suicide, relationship distress, or trauma… balance, serenity, healing, and worthiness are all obtainable!

I want to help you build upon your strengths so you can meet the difficult challenges in life.

I love working with adults, teens, and children and seeing them heal and grow. I also love working with people with disabilities and chronic illnesses.

I help my clients reduce difficult symptoms by using Mindfulness, CBT, EMDR/ART, and ILF Neurofeedback techniques.

Fun Facts: I’ve raised three children, one with spina bifida, one on the autism spectrum, and one with PANDAS/PANS. I love yoga, gardening, hiking, and going paddleboarding. I grew up in southern California.
